A mosque, a farm, and a ballroom — three Dallas rooms in two days, one couple holding all of it together.

Three events across two days, all in Dallas. The Nikkah at Qalam — their mosque, their neighborhood, traditional wear. The henna party that night at Honey Locust Farms — girls only, a farm, a completely different kind of warmth. Then the reception at Aristide in Mansfield: outfit changes, a full crowd, and a lot of content to move through.
Each event asked for a different approach. The mosque required restraint — quiet camera work, nothing intrusive. The henna party was its own contained world; we shot it accordingly. The reception opened up and we opened up with it. Outfit changes, moments between moments, the kind of footage that only comes from staying present the whole time.
The Nikkah
Qalam Institute. Traditional dress, familiar faces, the sincerity of a local ceremony done with full intention.
